A mere 7 months ago, in June of 2014, Tootles and Pinker Bell were created. They were inspired, at that time, by my reading of Peter Pan and Wendy by J.M. Barrie. Tootles is one of the lost boys and Pinker Bell was a fairy of my very own imagination. She would be the very first being created from the other world. With Tootles and Pinker Bell, I traveled far into the land of Neverland, where pirates lived and children flew high in the sky.
In early November 2014, I would again visit the mystical world by a custom request for Kindness Elves. The making of Klaus and Clara would prompt me once more to delve into an-otherworldly creation that so stirred the element of fantasy and enchantment...a world where elves, dispatched in the night, come and bring messages in bottles, whispered into the ears of slumbering ones.
Then, at the end of November 2014, Seren came to life. Seren was also a custom request...made for a special friend far away. She was a pixie created under circumstances and events that were not just serendipitous (from which her name transpired), uncanny and wonderful but also magical. Her making moved me so deeply into another dimension...one full of heart, soul and spirituality. In searching for Seren, I found a place filled with souls crossing paths in a dimension unseen by the eye and only known to those who have enough intuition and insight to find the portal into this space.
Today, I am here at the gateway (also known as Scarlet Elfcup), excited and awaiting once more, entrance into the other world. This time the journey will take me on a mission to fetch a small fairy, by which, even I, do not know what she looks like. The only thing known is that a clear sign of a dim glowing light will reveal her presence for she is the keeper of Cicindela (Latin).
